Two years ago we visited Nassau, Bahamas where I had the opportunity to tour historic Graycliff mansion, home of the five-star Graycliff restaurant and hotel. It is quite lovely and offers various tours if you are so inclined. I was!
I learned to make their famous Graycliff chocolate at their Chocolatier shop. I also toured the Graycliff Cigar factory where as you can guess we watched men roll cigars into these fragrant end products.
Following a wonderful lunch on the outdoor terrace, while waiting for my ride, I spied this interesting door leading to who knows where and of course the feature of this post! Thursday Graycliff Door.
Thanks for visiting – please click over to Norm’s Thursday Doors to experience his and other door enthusiast’s posts about doors they love! Until next Thursday…
I’m not a big cigar fan but chocolate certainly works for me. Looks like a fun time 🙂

Mmmmm – chocolate!! In spite of my lifetime obsession with chocolate, I’ve never had the pleasure of touring a chocolate factory.
{sigh} Lucky you!

It really was fun. And unbelievably still a small operation.

how fun to make chocolate and see (and smell) the cigar rolling…
and your feature door is so unique – and the walls have so much patina

Making the chocolate bars was a first for me, and it was delish! The entire tour and lunch was a fun experience and finding that door at the end was a treat. Thanks for your visit.

I was down in YBor City where they roll cigars – very culture rich. and they had some nice spanish doors… but I was not really into taking doors at the time… and so no photos – maybe some other time….
